THREAD-JACKING: Fine by me!
FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: I don't mind if they recognize her as fictional or even point out there's a movie where she's eleven years old; telling her about the future is fine, too.
BACKTAGGING: Sure! It can be difficult for me to get back into a character's headspace if a lot of time has passed or if major canon events would have changed her perspective on a given topic, but for the most part, I'm good. If unsure, please ask!
AVOIDED TOPICS: I'm sorta squicked by pregnancy, but it's not a hard line if other characters are in that state or discuss it. For anything regarding suicidal ideation please check beforehand. I'm usually okay with it given enough warning and some discussion ahead of time, but would rather not have it sprung on me.
PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/her

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
CURRENT CANON POINT: Laura comes to the barge shortly after the events of Civil War 2. (After All-New Wolverine #12, including the events of the first annual issue.) She has already taken up the mantle of Wolverine, which she has been operating under for several months.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Laura is 5'1", with a slim but athletic build and pale, unblemished skin. She moves with inherent stealth and the grace that comes with a lifetime of training in various martial arts styles; she's quick but deadly, and those with similar training will notice that about her, especially since she doesn't hide what she's capable of. She wears her long dark hair loose and to her mid-back; if cut, it will grow rapidly until it reaches that length again, so she usually doesn't bother doing too much with it. She prefers dark clothing with a form-fitting or even revealing cut -- it should be noted that she has no shame regarding the appearance of her body, largely as a result of being raised without the social mores that would dictate that shame in the first place. Most of her clothing on the barge will be practical and dark. The practicality extends to Laura's speech. She is direct, with a certain economy to her words, and while she has grown to understand and engage in social cues, there is something a little bit unusual about her word choices and inflections. Because of her enhanced senses, she's keenly aware of scents, and takes care to keep her own as low-profile as possible; however, others with enhanced senses would find a warm, earthy musk, with the sharp metallic tang that comes from the adamantium-coated claws.
DEMEANOR: Being raised as an assassin comes with some habits that are hard to break. Laura's constantly assessing her environment, taking note of strengths or weaknesses in those she interacts with. While she's been out of the Facility for some time, and not nearly as taciturn as she used to be, she still prefers to get right to the point in most matters, and may not be particularly aware of some social cues. For example, she doesn't care for small talk, and generally tackles most problems head-on, as though they're missions. That said, she's calculated; she's liable to consider several angles and listen to input from others before coming to her own decisions -- the exceptions being when people are clearly being taken advantage of, or when there are obvious power dynamics at play. While Laura isn't a social creature by habit, she still cares very deeply for other people, and the bonds she forms may be few and far between, but when they are formed, they run deep.
ABILITIES: In addition to her healing factor (see below for details), Laura has enhanced senses, adamantium-coated claws (two per hand, and one per foot), and is a skilled martial artist and acrobat. Her healing factor also grants her superhuman stamina, reflexes, agility, and durability. She is fluent in English, French, and Japanese; and has extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Laura is a clone and a mutant, with her primary mutation being a rapid healing factor. She heals from normal physical damage in seconds, she's immune to terrestrial infection and disease (and at least one alien virus has a tough time with her), and even regenerates severed limbs. She will recover from just about anything short of decapitation (and even then, the prognosis is pretty good). Should she wind up in the infirmary, chances are there's a foreign object preventing full regeneration (e.g., a knife in her brain or heart). Remove it, and she'll be fine.
CABIN INFORMATION: Laura's cabin is a replica of the Bronx apartment that Logan once lived in and where Laura currently makes her residence. It is a sparsely-furnished one-bedroom, with wooden floors, beige-ish walls, and well-worn, comfortable furniture. The kitchen is of slightly above-average size, given the rest of the apartment, with white, dated appliances and yellow-ish tiles. There is a fire escape outside the window, but on the Barge, it doesn't seem to go anywhere, in either direction. While she doesn't have a lot in the way of personal items, there is a cork board with photos of friends and "family," (Logan, Gabby, the Sisters, Remy, Ororo, the Avengers Academy kids, the time-displaced O5 X-Men) and an inexplicable, life-sized pelican statue that guards the door. Overall, the apartment has seen better days. It has a metal apartment door, with several locks (here, just for aesthetic purposes), and a brass handle.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: As someone who was created for the expressed purpose of being a living weapon, Laura doesn't take kindly to topics of others being used, coerced, manipulated against their will, or owned. She does not forgive forced prostitution and human trafficking. She will do all in her power to free those who are enslaved, and exact vengeance on those who perpetrate those crimes.

IC PERMISSIONS:
MENTAL: Generally yes. I'd prefer a check-in with the general scope of the control, but it isn't 100% necessary.
MIMICRY: Yes.
VIOLENCE: Yes, but be aware of her healing factor and fighting skills.
MAGIC: Generally yes, but if it's close to mental control / enchantment, I'd prefer a check-in. Again, it's not 100% necessary, I just want to know what we're getting into!
DEBATE: Absolutely!
OTHER / NOTES: For the most part, I subscribe to the philosophy of "play your character" -- which is, do what they would do, whether it's negative or positive or has potential lasting consequences. Give me the tough storylines. If unsure about something I will usually say "go for it" but you are always welcome to ask me ahead of time!

And here is the permissions page for Laura's abilities.
